I really hope this is me being paranoid. When I decided to get into the blogging world, I never realized how addicting and huge the Crafting Community Online is. But I jumped right in and started watching Ustream, and doing hops, and following the rules. With Ustream it is funny, because of the time difference it is always 10:00 p.m. or later, and my kid is in bed, and I am on the computer. I craft from my computer desk, so I spend every spare minute at my desk. And I tend to take breaks in between crafts and surf the net, mostly reading the blogs I follow.
So do you think it's a bad thing that bloggers are starting to notice me everywhere?? Am I being rude and following so many bloggers? I hope not because this is something I really enjoy, and I hope I am not stepping on anyone's toes or anything. Sorry I just had to get that out. If it is a good thing, why do I have a small number of followers, and barely any comments, I love the ones I do have though. Am I doing anything wrong?? Please someone help me out with this.
Plus here is a card I made over the last few days, it took me that long because life always gets in the way lately. :) Let me know what you think of it.
Well I am getting ready to start on a hop, hope it's ok.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Hugs,
Melissa D

No, I don't think it's nothing bad...just remember if they are on enough to notice you everywhere...then they are on just as much as you...lol
OMGosh Mellisa! It wasn't a bad thing! If I or anyone else at the Ustream made you feel bad, I am truly sorry! We never meant to upset you. :(
We are all involved in this crazy expensive craft becasue we love it and want to share our love of the craft with everyone else. I am so thankful for everyone who follows my silly little blog and watches my crazy Ustreams.
I also spend a ton of time stalking blogs and watching Ustreams. Just like I told you before, the more people know you are here, the more people will find you and that leads to making lots of wonderful friendships. That is a good thing! :)
Again, don't be upset or offended that we noticed you! We were all so thankful that you were there having fun with us. :)
Love ya girlie!

Mellisa,
I don't think it's a bad thing at all. I'm really sorry that you had this on your mind all night. It was all in fun. We would never want to hurt anyone's feelings and apologize if that was the case. I think it's pretty cool to be noticed. This little world of crafting, scrapping, blogging and Face Booking that we live in is extremely addictive. If I'm on it all the time, who cares?...I enjoy it and that's how I choose to spend my time. Put that comment out of your mind. It really didn't mean a thing. Keep doing what your doing, exactly the way you've been doing it and enjoy evey single minute:) By the way...I LOVE your Ice Skate Card!!!

I also follow alot of blogs and am on FB all the time. It's winter in Canada what else do we have to do. I don't think you have anything to worry about. I love the card you made, the blade looks really good. What cartridge is this from?

Hi Melissa! I was at the Ustream last night and I know that the comment was made in good spirit! I use to see a lady named Audrey all over and always made me smile because I thought how cool that she visits and leaves a comment...some of us are just visiting and don't take the time to comment! (I love comments)...anyway, it took me a while to actually find her, when I did, I immediately started following her! and we are great blogging friends now (moral of the story, if she wasn't all over, I would have never become her friend! and I am so glad I did)... and I just found you! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by my stamp site and leaving some love! I will add new images there soon so you have more to choose from on your free stamp choice. In the meantime...I wanted to add my 2 cents worth that the more involved you are in this crafty world, the more fun you will have. I love it when people take the time to stop by, leave a comment and make their presence known. It is very validating that all the time and effort is appreciated by others.

I don't think it was a bad thing.
Just means you are passionate about your craft.
I think it is lovely that you are checking out so many blogs. I love to get comments and always reply to them.
Hi Melissa, I was "behind the scenes" sorta on Friday....girl it was NOT meant in a bad way...at all. It's definately a good thing to be recognized. I see you leaving comments all the time and girl, you are quick, you must have super duper pooper scooper fast connection as I'm always right behind you leaving comments. :):):) Of course I fall behind all the time and haven't visited you in awhile as it does take a while to comeback and visit. I hope you don't stop commenting, it's an awesome feeling with someone comments, especially when it's not a giveaway post. :) Wow I'm a wee bit chatty tonight, ugh why couldn't I be this chatty last night! LOL Take care girl! Hugs to you!
Definately not a bad thing! I would think it's awesome to be recognized... I think that's part of the draw to blogging. :o)"Following" is how we learn new things sometimes. I'm like you - I'm always surfing blogs and I love to leave comments and get comments. And... I didn't realize how big the online crafting community was either. Keep it up!!

I like your Ice Skate!!! SO much detail!!!!!!!! I am sure they meant it in good fun!!!
Hi Melissa. I agree with everyone here. It's all good. :) Thanks you so much for following me and I am following you right back. :) I love blogging about my little craft hobbies and am always excited to get a comment from a follower.
I really love your ice skate. Brings back lots of great memories of figure skating when I was younger. Something I wish I never gave up. I try every once in a while, but it isn't like riding a bike. LOL! OK, I am going to go check out some of your posts and see what fabulous things you have been up to. :)

Hi, Melissa!
Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog today! While I wasn't part of the UStream you were on, I can tell you that I think it's wonderful that you are being noticed!! Recognition is wonderful in this community! :0)
I think we all follow several (hundreds) blogs, and it is very hard to keep up with sometimes. I know I fall behind on commenting on others' blogs (way too often!), but I am always hopping around and reading, oooohhhing and aaaahhiing!
Love your skate card! Would love to know where the skate file is from, and more info on your card! :0)
Have a great Wednesday!
