First Easel card for baby's first easter

This is the card when it is closed. I used just plain old cardstock for the base, the blue is card stock from the same pack, the Easter BG paper is from a holiday pack of papers I got at walmart last week, I blinged the corners with rhinestuds with my irock, and the image is from a free coloring page at fisher-price.

I colored the image with normal crayola markers, nothing fancy, really wish I could figure out how to get rid of the streaks, any suggestions????? I then used normal crayola coloring pencils and went around the outer edge of the image, I thought the marker and pencil were too close in color, so I then drew around the edge of the stamp with a white gel pen. Does it look ok???
Here is a picture from the side to show how it is propped up, I just used PSP to write out the Happy Easter
wording, then popped that up to make a stopper, I used popdots for it.

I then used PSP again to write out the little sentiment.

This is my first ever easel card, I don't know what I was afraid of, lol. It was really easy. Measurements scare me lol. Now I just have to figure out a way to make an envelope for it.

On another note, I ordered a Cinch, and it is in the province, but the capital. It arrived there last night, and it didn't come today so I have to wait until TUESDAY!!!! OMG this is driving me knowing it is so close yet so far away. I have a zap heat gun and embossing powder coming too!!! I have a lot of new things to play with coming. And I have some exciting news but I will save it for a new post and also for when I have some pics of it.
Hope you all have a great Easter holiday.
Hugs,
Melissa D

Not sure if it would work but - when I colour with PrismaColor pencils I use odorless mineral spirits (aka by brand names of Gamsol, Taltine...) to melt the soft wax so there are no lines. Not sure if it would work with Crayola wax but ... might be worth an experiment.

Your first easel card came out quite nicely.
