I'm a jinx

I think I jinxed myself on Friday, because Saturday morning when I got up load and behold what was outside my window... SNOW!!!!!!!! It has started, winter is here. It wouldn't be so bad if we didn't get wind almost on a daily bases, but we do, so it is blowing hard, freezing cold and now there are little balls hitting your face as you go outside. (little balls of snow I mean lol)

So we had the SS's here this weekend, they are now 16 yrs and 10 yrs. The oldest has expressed that he hates where he is living and would like to come live with us. I told him that is fine, but we just need to make a few phone calls and stuff.

So I have some phone call to make this week, to make this all legal and so that the BIO can't try and accuse us of kidnapping or anything. Cause I know she would try. She has been hell to be involved with since day 1. Come on woman, you have a new BF and family, move on and leave us the hell alone.

The BF finally got his divorced finalist this summer, and now the BIO is trying to take him for alimony... Can she be serious, they have been split for almost 7 years and she is the one that left. Is that even possible? Our lawyer says she has a small chance, so we are trying to fight this, even if it is only a small chance. He pays child support out the nose, and now she wants alimony too. Jeez does she just want his whole pay check, oh wait... yeah she does.

OK how did talking about the weather turn into a rant? Oops. But that feels better to get it off my chest.

Baby it's cold outside

I dislike this time of year, it is getting cold once again, I really hate when the snow will start to fall, we haven't had any here yet thank god! I am a wimp when it comes to cold weather, I would rather just stay inside and be nice and warm.

Mother Nature must be having a hissy fit or something around here... one day it is beautiful, nice and sunny and temps. in the double digits, next day, rain and down to like 5 and 6 degrees.

I wish I could say I was one of those mom's who loves to go sledding and playing in the snow, but I'm not. I hate it. I will do it when my child wants to, but you won't ever hear me say "hey, let's go outside in the snow and play."

I would much rather stay inside and do crafts with my child, and read with him and play games.
Am I alone here? Does anyone agree with me that the cold and snow sucks?? Yes the snow is beautiful, when looking out the window from a warm cozy room.
Those are my thoughts anyway. :)

iPod touch

yippee!! I figured out how I can blog from my iPod touch. Now if only I could find wi-fi everywhere. Oh the joins of living in a small town. ( insert sacarcasm)
I really hope to be able to keep up with this blog, and to get at least a couple readers. Time will tell I guess.

Cards and crafts

Well I have been keeping myself busy lately making cards, and quilling. I enjoy this so much, but find space is very limited, it gets annoying packing and unpacking everything every time, I am sure some of you know what I mean. I have seen ppl's crafts room's on blogs, and I am so jealous. I hope someday to have a room I can call my own, instead of the computer desk and the kitchen table.

Can you say NEGLECT???

Wow, I can't believe the last time I wrote here was 2008!!!!! Where did that time go? Well my little man is now 5 and in kindergarten, and Sunday schools, and hockey. I am pretty busy lately.
I have just recently started to comment on ppl's blogs, normally I am to self conscience to comment on other ppl's post. But I have been lately.
I am currently trying to patiently wait for my craft room to start being built, Big open basement, which I want a room put down there, so I don't have to drag all my craft stuff out and the drag it all back to the closest. I am also trying to save up some money right now to buy a CRICUT machine. I am in love with this machine, just trying to find the money to buy such an expensive piece of equipement is a big dream right now.
Well that is all I have to say right now. Hopefully it won't be as long next time that I post.
