Why oh why??

After last night I am wondering why did I ever put my son in Hockey?? Even though he loves it, and is doing quite well. He could barely stand on his skates a few weeks ago and now he is skating all on his own. But my big distaste of it is the cold, going in a very cold building from a very cold outside. Sometimes it is warmer outside then inside or vice versa. Oh how I hate the cold.
Last year it wasn't so bad, if the weather was really cold I didn't have to go anywhere if I didn't want to, but now it's kindergarten, hockey, church stuff. Just stuff that I need to leave the house for.
Why can't humans hibernate like some animals????

I am up earlier then I wanted this morning. I figured Toby doesn't have school till after lunch so maybe I would get to sleep in today, ha no such luck.

Why is it that when he has school in the mornings he doesn't want to get up, but on weekends and after lunch school days he is up bright and early??

The day for me to show the ladies at the church group is getting near, and I need to get cracking, I had a few ornaments made for examples (didn't get a chance to take a pic) and what does my 5 month old cat do??? She considered them toys and chewed the works of them apart on me. This is not the first time she has done this, and I am not sure how much more of it I can take. I wish I had an actual craft room, then at least I could close the door and know my crafts are safe. One day in my dreams maybe. :)

I just ordered the Cricut Gypsy... I hooked my credit card to paypal, so have to wait for that to get confirmed then the payment should go through I'd there are no problems and I did everything right.

Cross your everything fingers and all that I didn't just jinx myself again.

I just hope my Cricut and my Gypsy get here before Christmas.

Need some ideas, please

I just got a phone call asking if I would come to a church group and show the members how to make something crafty to put on their Christmas trees!!!

Help!!!! I have never gotten in front of a group of people and spoke before in my life. I said yes, because I love helping people but I would much rather show one person, and let them get up and do the show and tell / teach.

I have a week to think of something cute, easy, inexpensive, not too many materials and rather quick and Fun to make.

If anyone is actually reading this please help me come up with some ideas. I was thinking of making some quilled poinsettas. They are easy in my opinion but maybe not everyone elses. What do you all think?????

My mom just gave me her credit card and told me to order the Cricut machine from the shopping channel. I can't believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And now the waiting begins, and she tells me I have to wait till Christmas. :( I feel like a big kid lol. I have to wait till Christmas, but I don't want to. I can't wait, I can't, I can't. But I have to. :(
But I am getting a CRICUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait. Now to ask the BF for the gypsy to go with it hehehehe.
